Default Requesting Assistance with Several Curve Problems

Greetings Everyone!

Within the past day, I've experience two never-before-seen problems with my 8320 Curve on T-Mobile.

Alas, I'm now getting the dreaded "Uncaught exception: invisible mode annot be made current" message when I've tried to open my browser. Yes, I've SEARCHED the forum and tried the suggested fixes, but to no avail. I am very anxious to get this working again.

Also, when attempting to delete e-mail messages, I now only get the option to "Delete" or "Cancel." Prior to this, I also had the option to "Delete on Handheld Only," but that option no longer appears.

In an attempt to fix the above, I just downloaded and installed the latest OS today (August 21). Nothing improved or fixed. I have also installed the latest version of Desktop Manager today.


I believe I have to wipe my device and re-install the OS. Do you think this will fix the above maladies? Note that my install of the latest OS didn't fix anything, so I am thinking that I can't just install the latest OS, but must WIPE my device first, and then install the new OS. I have backed up my data already.

Try as I might, I can find the procedure to totally WIPE the device before reinstalling the OS. Can anyone tell me how (yes, I've searched this as well)?

Your assistance and advice will be greatly appreciated!

The Message Center Exchange Hosting
has a great article on how to completely wipe your device without BB manager.
I use a BlackBerry Enterprise Server with The Message Center hosted BES service
