Default What blinking greed light mean?

Please Login to Remove!

I am seeing blinking green light on my BB 8320. It did not appear beginning and now suddenly I am seeing it from last 2 days.
I know red mean new message/email but not sure about green light?
Any idea?

Green is a coverage indicator. You can turn it off by going into Options > Screen/Keyboard and setting LED coverage indicator to Off.

Green means you have a signal with your carrier.

You can turn it off: Options > Screen/Keyboard > LED Coverage Indicator.

Orange means low battery, under 15%. Not green.

When traveling the green indicator does not blink when i do not have coverage.

On the 8830 it means low battery. I don't have coverage indicator on.

I have the 8830 and it isn't really green, but I can see where you could confuse it for green. Look at little closer and it is more like 1/2 red 1/2 green.

It has been a while since I've seen it as I generally never let my battery get that low. I wish I could pop it into an iPhone 3G so I could drain the battery quick to test.

All joking aside. I have a spare battery here that is almost dead. I will try to run it down a bit more to get a better description.

It does indeed look green. I have 2 devices here, both Verizon 8830's. I have one with the coverage indicator on, and one with a low battery.

The low battery indicator does indeed look green at first. However, it is not as bright when compared to the coverage indicator. I think "yellow" is a fair term. It seems more yellow with a green tint then completely green.

You think Verizon disabled the 'orange' LED on it?

Yellow is a good descriptor for my low battery color, also.
