Default No sounds going through headphones?

Please Login to Remove!

Hello everyone, I've got a question. When I was using the beta, I would have notifications come through my headphones while listening to music (great feature). Now I don't ... I don't like using vibrate because it kills teh battery and since I'm using the headphones anyways while listening to music, have it go through!

It USED to do it in the BETA (.42) and now I'm on an official build, .55, and it's not working anymore. All the custom sounds I used for my profiles are on the micro SD Card.

I tried searching for this, but I couldn't find anything similar...
Any ideas?
K.

Any ideas? :(

I reformatted it, and then restored data, same problem. Are there certain file types or something that I should know about?
Thanks.

It doesn't matter if they're headphones or not. Just playing music, no notifications go through, not even through the speaker. So what i'm going to do is wipe it, and then just restore:
Phonebook
custom words
calendar
messages (SMS & Mail)

I'll post back.

SOLUTION:
RIM's blackberry while able to reproduce WMA files, cannot reproduce MP3's AND WMA's at the same time. Nor WMA & WMA. I mean, setting an alert to WMA while listening to an MP3 will not let the WMA come through. I changed the WMA files to WAV's and not it works fine. Maybe later i'l change them to MP3's, but since they're just 3 alerts, they're all under 700K combined, and sitting on the memory card, so no problem about space for me.
I hope this helps some others out there some day.

Kent.
