I bought the 8310 off ebay. It works fine but it has all of the previous owners email accounts set up. I am a new blackberry er so any help would be appreciated. I have seen a post mention something about a bis but I don't know what that is.

Go to options, security options, general setings,then push the menu button to the left of the track ball and wipe handheld. This will delete all the info off the BB. And make sure then pin is clear from the carrier.

what is the pin and what does it do. Is it difficult to clear from the carrier?
