Default Internet not working after 4.5 upgrade on 8320

Please Login to Remove!

I just upgraded my 8320 to the 4.5 OS. The internet now doesn't work - web browsed times out, opera, messaging, etc.

I wiped the handheld and post-wipe it worked, but when I restore my databases it doesn't. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance!

First, do you have EDGE at the top of the screen? Are you using Wifi? Are you using UMA? We could use a little more info...

Currently I have UMA (at home). The internet is working here and it normally works here. If I turn off wifi (and can keep an EDGE signal, it's weak here) it still doesn't work, though it normally does. Right now when I try to, e.g., go to a web page, it just stays on "Requesting" and then times out.

It was set to t-zones and I just tried changing it to hotspot browser. Still a no-go.

Do you have "internet browser?" You may need to resend your service books.

A register now or a resend of the service books should fix you up.
