Default Emails Sent from BB don't show up in Gmail

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

I recently started having a problem with my Gmails. When I send an email from my BB, the message can be delivered to the end user but is no longer showing up in my Gmail account on a desktop under the sent mail. Similarly when I reply to incoming messages, my gmail threads exclude my messages from my BB. I sent the service books numerous times.

I do not have any filters set. I had recently turned on IMAP but turned it off again due to my suspicion regarding this issue and am now using Gmail POP.

I am wondering if this is caused by Gmail rather than BB?

I would appreciate any help. Thank you very much.

Also since you made these changes have you completely deleted your email account from the BIS website and started over.

Dawg: Where again do I find that "leave copy on server" checkbox? I had seen that before but can't find now.

In Outlook, open the email account and go to advanced settings.

Just make sure you disable Imap on the Gmail account, delete the email account off the BIS Website, make sure the service books are deleted from the BB, Options, Advanced Options, Service Books. Pull the battery, wait a few minutes put the battery back in and re-add the email accounts.

The only other option I can think of is to set a filter unless they are having a problem right now. Let me check mine.

I used the BCC function back to my own email address on my BIS account settings. I saw similar problems in

#post1054223

#post1041877

I believe I got this error after turning on IMAP, and for some disturbing reason turning it off doesn't bring back the good old days - harm done cannot be undone. Trying to learn to live with the new ways.
