Default Invisibleshield on 8310

Please Login to Remove!

I just got the invisibleshield for my curve, I installed it last night and it seemed like it was still a little wet under the protector itself, it looks like everything installed properly, I don't remember this ever happening on my blackjack II when I got one.

Is there a special way you have to install on a curve?

Its really irritating to me I spent 20 dollars at best buy twice on this thing for my curve, and I don't want to rip it off and buy a new one again.

Installing it on a Curve shouldn't be different from installing it on any other device. You probably left a little too much water on the protector when you installed it. Just leave it alone, i.e. don't try to peel it off to remove the water. Eventually the water bubbles should go away.

Nope -- the same as any other Invisible Shield.

When all else fails RTFM. It specifically recommends allowing your device and the IS to dry completely for 24 hours. My installs don't typically take quite that long but I've applied quite a few of them and can use very little of the spray these days. YMMV. More spray = more drying time.

RTFM love that, I just put one on mine but it was also a new housing and I took a hair dryer and lightly went over the housing only and it fixed the water/bubbles

Frankly, I don't trust anything that requires wetting an electronic device in order to apply - too much work.

I just got some regular PDA screen protectors (palm brand) that I've had for years and just stick on - no solution required.

They work perfectly and protect the screen. The rest of the device, I'm not worried about......

When you buy the invisibleSHIELD over the internet, it has a lifetime warranty. Is there a lifetime warranty with the ones sold in stores?

Does the Invisibleshield get all messed up if you have to do a battery pull?

No, the protector is cut to match the battery cover and shouldn't overlap into the other parts of the BB.

The shield may be OK, however, please be aware of their deceptive advertisement practice.
The company states that it ship units by 1st class mail (without additional charges), however, after they charge your credit card they delay the shipment by about two weeks before they mail the letter so you get it more than 2 weeks after placing the order or after the credit card has been charged.
If you pay the huge overnight charges you get it sooner.
Very misleading!!

I beg to differ! Mine arrived three days after I ordered it via first class mail.

Granted, they are in Utah and I am in Colorado, so the distance is relatively short than most other orders.

So your BSE covers all around the screen+keyboard? InvisibleShield doesn't cover the left and right side of the front. Only top (where LED is), screen (which seems better than the way BSE has it), and bottom (at the AT&T).

I might order BSE and combine the two to get the best of both worlds!

I turned my Curve on 2 hours after installing it, I've installed so much IS that I never get the inside of my electronics wet.

Just wondering, LokoTripper, for the back piece, is that just 1 piece for the whole battery cover? The IS takes 3 pieces and covers terribly. Also, how is the covering above the LED and the camera light? Does it cover all the way to the rubber? I want those parts covered because the edges are where phones get the most paint scratches.

Try smoothing it out with a damp sponge. It might take a while as you will need to go over those parts several times, but it should do the work.
