Currently I have a pearl but I'm thinking of upgrading to a curve now that I'm eligible for a discount. I've played around with the curve at the verizon store and really like the feel of it and the bigger screen. But what are some other pros and cons of the curve compared to the pearl that some of you may have come across? Is it worth the upgrade price or should I just stick with what I have for now and wait for a new model to hit the market? Thanks for any suggestions...

I have used both 8100 Pearl to 8320 Curve to 8120 Pearl.

With the new OS' the only difference if size, shape and QWERTY keyboard.

I agree with troy. The only real different is the size.

I made the move and I am pretty pleased. I find I can type better and its easier on my eyes with the slightly larger screen. Downside is it is a bit bulkier. Assuming you wear a belt holster, that might be an issue as it is more hardware on the belt.

As for waiting, there is always a new model around the corner, so that is personal choice.

As they say, size does matter. I couldn't live without my curve. Just ask my other girlfriend.

If you don't mine having a bigger device and do a lots of emails with your bb, the Curve is great.

I would do it and actually I moved from the 8830 to the curve and love it.
