Default SIM not allowed

Please Login to Remove!

Ok so I work in a place that does not get very good reception. Just one of those things...So during the night the phone displays "SIM not allowed". I am like WTF???

So I called TMo and ask whats up...we take the phone apart (battery out, sim out etc and so forth). Nothing. Still same message.

He tells me I need to put my sim in to another TMo phone let it initialize and try it again.

So it got me to thinking...is there anything else I can do?

You could ask TMo for a SIM swap.

I agree with JSanders. Try a SIM swap first, and then come back here if you have more problems.
P.S. JSanders I like your avatar.

Yeah, lucky me my wife had ordered a SIM card. She had no reason to do so, but she did. So when I told her what they said, she whipped it out! (well...not literally) I called TMo so they could activate it - and zip zowie zoom! It worked fine.

Thanks Guys.
