I'd like to upgrade the OS on my Curve but I'm running into a Device Password Required pop up window. It says the following:

Device:USB-PIN: 2425C1C6
Please enter your device password (2/10):

The only password that I know of on my Blackberry is the lock function. I tried that one and it won't work. Last time I tried this and I didn't guess my password after 10 tries my Blackberry did a WIPE which I don't what to do again.

What password is it looking for?

It is looking for the lock password.

Do you use numbers as a password on your device? If you do and you don't press the Alt key when entering them, the password is actually letters. For example; the password 1234 would actually be wers. I had a user have this issue in the past.

That worked thanks! I thought I was putting numbers when it was actually letters, thanks!
