Mmmmm....

Just a thought...

I know At&t requires a separate add on for text paging... does TM do the same? If you have just a data plan and voice with At&t you have to add text paging...

I subscribed to T-mobile with unlimited text - SMS & MMS worked fined on my old razor , I just bought this unlocked 8310 , I recently upgraded from 4.2 to 4.5 , received text OK but just could not send text although on the phone itself it showed text sent & I called the person I texted to verify they said they did not receive anything ????

Is your phone rgistered with Tmobile? I had that issue with AT&T. I had to call them and make sure they had the new IMEI.

I just realized that when I upgraded the OS 4.5.0.55 I forgot to delete the vendor.xml file , would that matters ?

If you BB updated to 4.5, then it didn't matter.

Was this a previously owned BlackBerry? It may have an IT Policy on it that prevents texting.

This unlocked 8310 was used by AT&T with OS 4.2 on it , when I upgraded to 4.5 I just used DM to do the upgrade without deleting the vendor.xml file or anything . Anyways , I called Tmobile & the guy had me do a battery pull then I was able to send text messages . Thanks for all your help !
