curve 8330 sprint 4.5 aim ques
 

i have a sprint curve 8330
i just downloaded the desktop manager 4.6 (which i am assuming is the right one to download? i wasnt sure between that or 4.5 hopefully its fine with vista. my download just completed. before i look to upgrade from 4.3 to 4.5 mainly because of html emails and docs to go --- i was wondering if any of the original software on my phone especially the aim that came with my phone. will that still be there if i upgrade to the 4.5?? will i lose my contacts too? i backedup my phone so im assuming once i install os 4.5 i can restore my old contacts and settings. i was mainly wondering about the stock programs like aim that came on my phone.. will they still be there with a 4.5 upgrade??

Yes, they will still be there. They are sent to your device via service books from Sprint and are OS independent.

My aim icon is gone? And I went to the browser to install and the link is not there?
