What is the difference in these cases
 

What is the difference in the clear cases on e-bay for $5-$10 and the one on Seidio for $25.00. I would like to find a clear scratch proof case. Anyone have any ideas?

Is there a description of the materials used in each?

I'm beginning to think tsac wasn't joking around. They all pretty much say "hard plastic case" I was hoping someone had one they could reccomend. I know sometimes you get what you pay for and sometimes you can pay to much! :? I would like one that was scratch resistant as well.

Sometimes brand name and generic items are made by the same manufacturer, and then separately branded and packaged for sale.

Sellers then charge whatever they believe the market can pay.

Don't know about the eBay stuff, but I can recommend the Seidio stuff. I always get their stuff when I get a new phone. Never been let down yet! knocks on wood

You know i've been procrastinating on this topic.. I need a case. Let me go buy a seidio case. One difference maybe that seidio products have great feedbacks from fellow Blackberry Users from here in the forums.. Ebay.. Could be a replica.. Buy at your own risk lolz.

I think I am just going to order one from Seidio this weekend. It would be nice if there was a coupon code out there. I looked and couldn't find one.

Honestly I think the difference is in quality. The ebay ones can be hit-or-miss. I got a cheap one from ebay. One of the clips on the case wouldn't close properly, but otherwise I"m happy with the case since I only paid $2 for it (free shipping too). If that sounds like something you can live with, then go for an ebay one.
