I get some of the e-mails from an e-mail account. Is there a reason as to why they are not all coming thru. Is there a limit as to how many e-mails you can get on your blackberry 8330 Curve?

There are no limits that I am aware of on BIS. Are you using BIS or BES? Is this email provided by your service provider or a third party (ie. Work)?

E-mail provided by work. Using outlook with exchange at work.

Not sure on the set-up but if you are using POP at work with Outlook there should be a setting to leave email on server. My guess is that the mail is removed from the server before BIS can pick it up in most cases. Sorry that I cannot be more specific. I will try researching more.

P.S. there really isn't a limit on email....I have over 13k on mine.

If it says my e-mail password is invalid what does that mean. I just just use my windows login password as the password.

I entered my work windows password and it says the e-mail account is now validated.
Was it not validated so it did not work?
I set it ip originally and validated it then and have not made any changes to the account. What would have caused the account to be not validated?

bill fwiw, i had the same issue as you using outlook. the reply from thatzmister2 was exactly what solved my problem. check out your settings in outlook and make sure it is set to leave email on the server.

i'm not sure about your issues with the password though.

If they take your Outlook servers for routine maintenance BIS will abort the connection after so many attempts. I had to work with them at one point because I was validating every single morning and it got old!
