Question Blocking people on BB Messanger

Please Login to Remove!

Is there a way to block someone on your BB Messenger contact list from instant messaging you? For example, if you added someone to your contacts, if you delete them from your contact list, will your info also be deleted from their phone on their contact list?

Yes, if you delete them you will be deleted on their device, as well.

Sweet! Wouldn't it be nice if all break ups in life were that easy? See, Blackberry has our back.

Rarely does someone get my PIN that I don't want in my BBMessenger. I've never declined a BBM request. I do deny giving out my pin, though!

So far having my pin listed hasn't been a bad thing

So are there any security or privacy risks with giving out your pin? Is it safer to create an email (like on yahoo) to use for BBM instead?
