I read how to install them, by going to media>explore and install from there. However everytime I do this I get the game to install but cant control it? I hope this makes sense. For example I downloaded a stupid game where you weave a ball in between things but I cant control the ball, the game runs fine though...any ideas? am I just a complete newb?

Not all .jad and .jar files/software are truly compatible with Blackberry's or your particular model and therefor the program may not recognize or support your devices hardware.

I would try to locate the developers site and see which devices are actually supported. Sounds to me like the games you have installed are not supported.
