aim on verizon 8330?

I understand that RIM has a aim,yahoo and msn messenger download..........Now being that I am on verizon service I can download the msn and yahoo,but not the aim..........anybody know why?

You should still be able to use the Mobile IM app until the other one is available. You can download it from the browser homepage on your device.

I have tryed the verizon app. .....honestly it sucks.
