Im in search for some information. A colleague of mine has recently brought me a 8310 which is not displaying the internet icon, it just seems to of disappeared. How can i get this back?

Welcome to the forums.

First make sure the icon is not hidden. Press the Menu button (left of trackball) and click Show All.

If you still don't see it, try registering the device with the network - Options -> Advanced Options -> Host Routing Table -> Menu button -> Register Now.

juwaack68, thankyou for your quick reponse, i havn't attempted step 1 just as yet and i wouldnt be surprised if this isnt the case, sounds like a simple problem that mite of occured from a user. I attempted step 2 and this didnt work so im hoping when i get the chance step 1 will work. If not is there anything else i should be aware of?

trying logging into your BIS account and resending the Service Books. It happend to me yesterday and I resent my service books and it popped up after that.
