every couple times i call someone or they call me i answer my curve and there's this weird crackling/wooshing sound, dont really know how to describe it. Does anyone else ever this happen? is there a way to fix it? also there's times where i pick up and hear nothing at all. any help will be really appreciated.

Do you use a headset? It could be tower related if it usually happens in the same part of town. Do you know anyone in your area that has the same service and phone as you do that you could ask if they expirience the same problems?

no i dont use a headset, it seems to be totally random when it happens. and no one i know carries a curve
