I downloaded the newest OS 4.6 for my BB Curve with no problems, phone is working fine, but I am not sure which forum I was in but someone was saying that with new OS the media player has a equalizer with it? I may be wrong and that is why I am asking so someone who has correct info could post it. I don't see one when I play any music so just wanted to know.

You mean 4.5 os right? To change the headset Equalizer go to Music, hit the Menu key>options>scroll down to headset equalizer... Hope this helps.
