I have a single user on a BlackBerry Professional Software 4.14A server that seems to be working fine. He can fully sync OTA, send/receive email, browse the web, open attachments like .XLS files, etc... However, when he creates a Voice Note and sends it to himself or someone else sends him a Voice Note he cannot open it. If he opens the message he see the attachment and it displays "1 attachment", and the correct name (like VNXXX.amr) at the bottom of the message. Unlike other messages with an attachment when he opens the menu it does not show the option to open the attachment. If you look at a message with a Voice Note attached it does not show a paperclip; messages with other types of attachments show the paperclip. When the same message is opened on another BlackBerry or his own Outlook the attachment works correctly. If I go into his media player app (i forget the proper name) I can go to Voice Notes and all VNs are available and play correctly.

He has:
BlackBerry Professional Software 4.14A server
Verizon Curve
OS 4.3
No storage card loaded
The desktop software 4.5.0 B16

The voice notes are being created and attached correctly but the unit doesn't seem to understand this. It makes no difference what BB creates the voice note and attaches it.
