Default Buy 8320 Direct from TMo and Unlock or Buy Unlocked from eBay?

Please Login to Remove!

TMo sells for $450 locked...eBay has some new un-locked for $370-$400. Not sure if eBay has real new phones as advertised..maybe counterfiet or re-furbished?

What would you do?

Thanks for your input in advance....

Only buy from a trusted seller on eBay with lots of good feedback. You can get the phone unlocked at HorizonWirelessOnline.com - Horizon Wireless, The World’s Cellular Repair Center if necessary.

I've purchased phones off of ebay before. But, as John says, you must be sure to use a trusted seller with good feedback. I normally don't buy from one with less than 98% positive (sometimes I'll go with 96-97% if all the negatives are over 6 months ago) and I also don't buy from low volume sellers. If all the positive feedback is for someone as a buyer (instead of a seller), I'll usually pass them buy as well. I'm probably overly cautious and acknowledge that if everyone was the same way, buyers would never be able to build up their feedback.

I think ebay even has a FAQ that gives you advise on how to check out sellers in advance.

How about a seller with no feedbacks?? How about a new seller? Give those seller a chance to prove that they are trusted as a seller with #s of feedbacks.

That's kind of unfair that a seller should have to lower his price because he's just started out.

I think if the seller is new you should try to take precautions to make sure the seller is legit. Try a phone call, proof pictures...always pay with paypal.

and if it comes down to it just don't buy from a new seller if you are that paranoid about it.

I just think the idea of a seller lowering his price because he is new is quite absurbed.

I NEVER said lower the price point! I said "starting out with ITEMS at a lower pricepoint" Sell 10 DVD's wait a week and you have a feedback with 10 Sales.

Absurbed is you calling me out and not understanding my post.
