Default RE: file explorer

the one thing that my Curve doesn't seem to have, but wish it did, is a file explorer (like viewing mass storage files on the desktop). am i blind to see it, OR is there a 'free' program that does this?

I'm with you extra, I don't understand either. For example I have my SD card in my curve. How come I can't just browse through the files on it?

Go into your media application press the menu key and select Explore. That should help you guys out.

This is looking like it will only allow me to browse what is on the device memory. Is there a way to browse what is on the card? Or am I missing something? Thank you for the help by the way. I do appreciate it.

Do you have Mass Media support enabled?

I get the options for Media Card and Device Memory.

If the option that you are talking about is in the General Options and under Media Card, I have Media Card Suppot turned ON. Not sure if I have ever seen an option for "mass media support". Wait a second, every time I plug my Curve into my pc it prompts me to turn it on, but I was thinking that was an option for when it's plugged in only?

Yes, In Options > Media Card. If you have Media Card Support on, you should see Encryption mode and and Mass Storage Mode.

You will also see Auto Enable Mass Storage Mode when connected. That is why you get that prompt when you connect it.

Wirelessly posted

There is no pdf viewer on your device. You can only view pdf's as an email attachment via the BB attachment service
