I used to have the Pearl and I would get my work email on there. I was never on the BES and don't want to be. Now, I switched to the Curve and could set up the other emails (gmail) through TMobile but cannot set up the work email. We did just switch the exchange server, and have called TMo to set this up, but nothing works. I would let it go, but email inbox is flooded with BB network emails that there is a message that is coming through to some BB.
I do have a folder for the work email on the Curve (when I did the switch device wizard from Pearl) but no new email in coming in there.
Can you please try re-stating the section about your email inbox being flooded with BB Network emails? Which mechanism were your previously using? BIS or perhaps the Re-Director? If you were using redirector you will need to update settings on the PC using Desktop Manager.
