1. Should I upgrade to 4.5?
2. any special tricks?
3. When will Verizon release 4.5?

1. Personal decision. Do you need or want badly any of the new features as reviewed in any of the many OS 4.5 threads?
2. The best trick is to follow the instructions exactly as posted. Check the FAQ here for easy step by step OS upgrade instructions.
3. No idea... many threads already here ask that question.

Go for it Asymm, I have an 8330 on the Verizon network. I upgraded as JSanders said following the instructions to the T and I have not had 1 issue. Now I should probably run outside and find a tree so I can knock on some wood... hehehe

1. Personal choice like Jsanders said. I like the 4.5 features that 4.3 on my Curve did not have (HTML email for one).
2. Brain dead easy, just don't pull the USB cable when it's updating. It can take a while.
3. Who cares when VZW releases, the updates are already out there.
