Default battery

Please Login to Remove!

hi every one, i've got a new battery and i put it to my bb8300, and i see lightning and batery. does any one can tell me what does it mean??

It means your battery is not charged.

Leave it several hours. Remaining plugged in, remove the battery, replace it allow it to reboot. Look at Options > Status and if the charge percentage is not yet to 100%, leave it longer to reach 100%.

when there is a lightning bolt next to the battery, it means its charging.

Correct, and that could be what this user saw, on his home screen... a charging battery.

But likely it might have been the no battery symbol which is common with a newly received battery, on the white screen. Either way it will be fine for he/she to follow the instructions given, no harm.
