Where is the tools button located on the 8330 ?

you mean options?
make sure you're on the screen that shows all icons.
if you dont see it, push the BB button and highlight 'show all' to make sure its not hidden.

And sometimes, according to the theme you are running, it could be in a folder "settings" or "tools",or "options".

As long as you are on the home screen or the applications/icons screen you can simply press O as in the letter to open options.

If you have dialing from the Home screen turned off. Right?

I have two options of what I am trying to do on is:
Tools - Settings - Status
or
Options - Status

The problem I am having is when I get to Options I do not see Status or if I click on Advanced Options I still do not see Status.

Its not under advanced, just simple Options.

What are the choices you see in Options?

I still have trouble finding stuff on my BB but it is an adventrue just keep looking. And, I'm ditching my ZEN theme for an icon them, which seems to work better for me.
