Question What is syncing?

Please Login to Remove!

When I sync my blackberry curve, does that make my contacts and pictures go onto my computer, or does it make my computer contacts go to my blackberry?

Also, I see there is a section for music. Can I transfer songs from my computer to my blackberry curve 8330?

Wirelessly posted (By Super Blackberry)

1)On your desktop manager it has the option to do a 1 way or 2 way sync meaning (1 way) either from bb to computer or computer to bb (contacts, memo pad, notes, tasks).

A two way sync is that it will sync both, bb and computer on both.

2) Yes you can sync you music, pictures, and even movies on to your blackberry. You cannot sync music that you purchased from itunes, unless you take the copy right off.

But 1) syncing contacts, calendar, tasks and memos with Desktop Manager is a different sync from 2) syncing music with BB Media Sync.

when your computer and BB are in sync, it enables the ability to transfer information back and forth.
it wont do it automatically, you will be able to choose what you would like to transfer, as mentioned above, contacts, media, etc. etc
