Whenever I try to go to m.google.com/sync, it says that "Sorry, your device is not supported" but searching through some google pages, it shows that google sync is supported on the VZW BB 8330. Sending the link to myself through texting doesnt work either.

Does anyone have any recommedations?

There is a new google application for the blackberry from Google. I just updated to it...it combines everything into one: Mail, Maps, News, RSS, Sync, etc.

Download it and give a try. I do not use sync though so I do not know...

I am using GoogleSync on my 8800 to sync the calendar with my laptop and wife's PC as well. Also goes to a MAC PowerBook. Works fine.

I've tried this, and I can't seem to download the google calender sync onto my phone.

Just reading about the competition here...

I heard a few months back that the Google sync will delete appointments not within the 1 month before to 6 month after timeframe. Is this still the case?

I installed this no problems with my 8830 earlier today after reading this thread. I followed dubdubs links on my mobile, then grabbed the file. It seems I actually downloaded the google pack or something, but that includes a link to Google Sync. I clicked that, and then it downloaded just fine. I logged in and was about to sync, but I didn't want to yet. So it's running, but I haven't test syncing it yet.

i got the same error. i went back and got the url m.google/sync. i think thats it. you have to do it from your BB. then it works. it seems when they send you the link to your BB it dl's mobile apps. and not the 'sync'. copying the link should work to get you the sync app. the only problem i now have is holidays from google wont dl to my BB but future events will. i read secondary calendars will not dl to BB. are holidays considered a secondary calendar. anyone????

Anything that is on your calendar prior to the install of googlesync will not show up on your BB. You will only get items after the install.

I have it on my 8330 w/sprint and works perfect.
