Go to your carrier from blackberry.com, you'll get the latest there.

Not every carrier sells every model of Blackberry. Carriers release OS's for the model of Blackberrys they sell. You have to find another carrier that sells your model of phone.

RIM does sell some unlocked devices. You can check on Blackberry.com. There are 4 or 5 of them, including the 8320.

My guess is since not all carriers have jumped to 4.5 RIM hasn't released it yet. Honestly, I don't have an answer to that one.

Ok. When I looked, I only saw them offering the 8707g. But when I went back and navigated the site a different way, those 4 came up.

developing is constant. Software should never come to an end because the requirements are growing. Therefore use what's there, unless you have a specific bug to report.
