Default side panel creaks

Please Login to Remove!

the side panel of my 8310 recently began to creak when I grip the phone or press the side button. Any thoughts or suggestions as to how get rid of this noise? Should I take the phone apart and put back together to see if it'll tighten etc? (however, I know the side panels simply snap in place as opposed to being screwed in, so am not sure this would do the trick).

thanks

I've never noticed that myself, but I have seen a couple others here comment their device did the same.

I wonder if a skin or a Seido hard skin would help you, if your tightening does not help.

Wirelessly posted

I would be sort of afraid to take mine apart. I took my 8830 apart and put on a different housing and it was never the same.

I had the same issue, only mine was when I typed. I called T-mobile and had them send me a replacement phone. I am pretty sure the housing was not set right, but I was not opening it up to put it on correctly.
