This may be a common issue, but I was unable to yield any answers from searching...
Very often, the speaker on my curve is muted when I answer a call. The caller can hear me, but I cannot hear them. Ending the call and attempting to callback still has the speaker muted. In order to re-enable the speaker, I have to pull the battery and reboot the phone, in which case it will work normally for a few more days. I have been unable to duplicate the issue when using a headset, this only applies to the internal earpiece speaker.
I'm on my second curve, and this has happened on both units. I also have a friend with the TMobile curve, and this same issue has happened with his unit.
I am on firmware 18.104.22.168, and have not attempted to upgrade yet.
Is this a more common issue? I apologize if this has previously been discussed, but I was unable to find any info.
