| Replacing My Curve Please Login to Remove! I bought my Curve a little less than a year ago. Coming from the PPC world, I was (and still am) very impressed by the reliability of the OS, user-friendliness of the interface and depth of the features. I paid the full $300 for my device, and never did get my $50 rebate check from T-Mobile.
My problem is that the HW has been falling apart since the past few months. The front buttons next to the track ball have been fading, the main display shield has been scratched and has dust under it. One of the rubberised sides has popped out from the rear and doesn't seem to want to fall back in. The battery cover has also been pretty worn out and scratched up.
I have treated my Curve with moderate care and have not abused it beyond regular everyday use. I have a few weeks left on my warranty and wish to have my device replaced, as I don't believe it will hold up until the release of the next good thing by RIM (I'm not interested in the Bold).
I'm weary of T-Mobile customer support, since they refused to follow up on my rebate inquiry and refused to budge on the issue. Any tips or workarounds to help get my Curve replaced would be greatly appreciated.
