Curve 8330 KEYBOARD illumination Not the display/backlight, but the keyboard itself: Is there any way to control the lighting of the keyboard? For example, at night in the dark, you can't see the keyboard when typing a text message or email. Is there a native ability or any 3rd party software out there (such as BBLight) that would allow manual configuration of the keyboard's lighting? Beyond this, what controls WHEN the keyboard lights up? I know I've seen it light up at certain times, but does anybody have a definitive answer on what controls it? Thanks. |
You're saying yours doesn't light up in the dark?? The keyboard is controlled by a light sensor. It is located in the upper right where the LED indicator is. You should be able to cover it with your finger and the keyboard should light up. I just tested mine and it works fine. |
No, I wasn't saying it didn't light up. I was trying to find out if there was a more forward way to control the manual light-up process. In digging a bit more, I think I can accomplish what I'm looking for using both BB Light and the Screen/Keyboard (autobacklight) settings. We'll see. Thanks for the response. |
There is nothing that will control just the keyboard light separately. |
