Default help with blackberry problem

My curve keeps turning off and going to a white screen with a battery with a line through it. It started when I would plug the phone in to charge, but now its happens randomly. Any help would be appreciated

That indicates the BB is not recognizing the battery, or it is not charged.

I would suggest getting a replacement battery, for one thing.
