Hello guys...

i have 8310 for this couple of weeks, and it's already stressing me with the restart thing. On day one, it's always restart in 5 - 10 minutes, then i ask my friend for this problem, he said that i have to upgrade for the latest OS, because i'm using 4.2 so i upgrade it to 4.5.0.69, the "always restart 5 - 10 minutes" is solved, but when there's any phone call coming, it's restart, so i try to calling out and there's no problem (weird).

I try to look in this forum if there's someone who have the same problem like me. I read thread about always restarting on 8310, they said that we have to try OS 4.5.0.55 because it's stable. So i download it, and downgrade it from 4.5.0.69 OS to 4.5.0.55 the problem now is solved to... i never had a restart, but it's just only a couple of hours, and its coming again when a phone call coming...and a few second, it's restart again...it's stressing me... it's any possible this is becasuse the hardware? or just a software? can anybody help me with this problem please??

I fix my restart problem installing the OS doing what John Clark says in his post. Also try to remove battery for about 25 seconds.

hi hell... thanks for the response. i've done doing what are you told me too in that tutorials... but it still keep restarting when i'm calling out or theres calling in. It's just like when your're PC lack of memory, it's started to "hang" and lost memory, then... wuuff... your monitor started to blank, And restart again from the begining. it's frustating me...

do you make sure your closing your applications and they are not running in the background? Alt+Esc to see whats running.

yes, i've done do that too, theres only home, message, windows live, yahoo messenger, bb messenger, and phone icon.

i try to use Alt+Esc, and choose on message icon, then i choose close on the option, i try to press Alt+Esc, the message icon are still there...

oh, and i try to use Alt+L G L G to erase manualy event log, because i read on the forum it can be useful to pressing up the memory, but it still restarting again its make me crazy...

do you have a media card in your BB? if so,remove your media card and see if that does not stop the reboots. If that is your problem,here is your way of fixing it,

REBOOTS
