Default BB stops receiving emails until battery pull

Please Login to Remove!

Hi. Searched around here but didn't see a post that popped out to help my situation. For the past two days, in the morning, I have my general overnight bunch-o-email. Throughout the morning I get some sporadically, as normal. Then it occurs to me I haven't received any in a while. Didn't think much about it until I got home the first day and saw bunches on the home computer, but none were delivered to the BB. I decided to do a battery pull, and upon restart, here comes the flood! Email gets delivered.

Next day, same thing. Around noonish I realize I'm not getting them anymore. Battery pull and here they come. I tried a 'reconcile now', but that didn't pull them from my servers. Yet, another battery pull did the trick.
What am I doing wrong? I have not made any changes to the BB in weeks. This just all of a sudden started being an issue.

Thanks!

CG

How do I resend my service books? - BlackBerryFAQ

And, to add: removing the batter and rebooting IS the accepted manner to regain communication with the EDGE signal. Are you in a fringe signal area? What OS are you are running on the BB (options > About)?

You read my mind about the service books how to. I am on v4.5.0.3.7. No fringe area, great service. It just suddenly stopped picking up my email until I do a BP. Not sure what I could have done to glitch it, but I will explore the service books (I have never done this).

Thanks...

omg, get RID of .37 now. THAT is your problem, definitely. <<<bad bad

That release NEVER held EDGE, it was notorious for losing EDGE and not regaining it and requiring a battery pull. I know from experience. It was crappy across all models.

Upgrade to the latest OS...
Latest OS: 8310 4.5.0.108/4.5.0.81 (English + EastAsia languages)

^^this is good.
