Battery pull essentially resets the blackberry; it's like a forced reboot of a PC.
Check your options settings for Gsync; the default is: on conflicts: server wins. This means if there is a discrepancy bwt the BB and Gcal, Gcal wins and the BB item is changed. This setting tends to keep Gcal more stable, so to speak, or more like the "source" calender, to think of it another way. Did you have the conflicts set to "handheld wins"?
I don't understand why your Google Calendars were deleted, though. A "sign-out" removes the synchronized items, but it should not delete the calendars from Google Calendar. When you sign back in, the calendars should remain and they should also continue to show-up on Gcal. Also, a second Gsync option setting, namely "sync events for next: XX weeks", should limit the extent to which Gcal appointments are impacted. The only possible exception might be annual events, but non-repeating events beyond the sync window should remain untouched. The loss of your original Google calendars when you signed-out on the BB is very worrisome.
All I can suggest is trying to get 1 appointment to sync from 1 calendar to the BB. Create a new calendar on your Gcal website with 1 appointment, open Gsync on the BB and set the options to "server wins" and the events window to "4 weeks". After you sign-in to Gsync, you should see the new calendar you just added to Google Calendar; select it and sync. If the 1 appointment shows-up on the BB, you're on the right track. If not, something is not right - obviously.
If you can get 1 appt to sync, try changing the appt in the BB and re-syncing. It should change the appt in Gcal. If this works, you have another step in the right direction and can start adding more of the appointments / occasions back into Google Calendar.
