I sync my calendar up w/ my desktop manger software and all my calendar items come in that way. However if I receive e-mails from either of my few e-mail addresses I have setup under my BIS account that is an appointment it then put into my calendar on my phone even if I don't accept the appt on my phone. How do I stop having calendar items get put into my phones calendar when it comes from an e-mail I receive on the phone? I only want calendar items on my phone that are synced using my desktop manager program or if I manually enter then into my phone.

This is a total shot in the dark as I am really not sure what this feature is for ............. But

Open calendar ...... Go to Options > General Options and scroll down to Enable Quick Entry. Is it set to yes or no; if yes .... Change to no and see if that helps.

Sounds like you need to setup whatever you did on your BIS account...

There is no selection int he BIS account for the calendar items...

In regards to changing the quick entry piece that doesn't resolve the issue... Still when i get an e-mail that is a meeting invite it automatically puts it in my calendar even if I don't open the e-mail up.

Then how did you set it up that way? You said in your original post that you set it up that way

No I said that I sync my e-mail up through BIS not the calendar, the calendar is downloaded using the desktop manager... However when I get an e-mail from the BIS account that is a meeting invite it automatically inputs it into my calendar which I do not want it to do that.

That is why I said to go into your BIS account because from this statement it looks like you set it up that way

There is no option for anything releated for the calendar in the BIS account stuff.

I have the same issue. E-mail from my Outlook account is auto-forwarded to my 8300. When I receive an auto-forwarded meeting request, even if I delete it without opening it, it schedules the meeting in my BB calendar. Conversely, in Outlook, the only way to have the meeting update the calendar is to accept. Either deleting or declining prevents the calendar update.

Alternatively, is there a way to decline a meeting request (which would prevent it from updating the calendar) without it always, automatically replying to the sender? There are options to send a reply with or without comments, but I'd like to find a way to either prevent deleted meeting requests from updating the calendar or to do so by declining without sending a reply.
