Default 4.5 vs 4.6 Desktop

I recently upgraded to 4.5 on my 8330, and also upgraded to 4.5 desktop. Now I notice there is a 4.6 desktop, is there any value to upgrading and are the compatible with each other. 4.5 keep locking my computer (Vista) and I don't know why (maybe my Norten). I would like to try 4.6 if it is will work with my 4.5 BB.

Desktop Manager 4.6 is fully compatible with OS 4.5 on your handheld. I would recommend you upgrade the DM on your PC.

Do the install on your PC with Administrator Rights.

DM = Desktop Manager which you can download from Rim.

JSanders has you on the right path...
