Login to your BIS account on your PC and click on the edit bottom next to the account you want to change, this is for email.

Here: Where can I log into my BIS account? - BlackBerryFAQ

If you get email on your BB you most likely have a BIS data plan.

I do send and receive email on my device... when I try to create a new account on the link you provided by entering my PIN and IMEI, it says there is already an account set up for this device. I don't remember setting one up ??

You had to if you are receiving email on your BB, you might have to call your carried and have them reset your password.

Wirelessly posted

Another option would be to create an autotext entry. I have an 8330 so I don't know if the menus are the same. On mine, it's Options (homescreen icon) - Autotext. For example, my signoff when I type "jsig" + space or Enter;

How does this relate to creating a "signature" at the end of a text / email ? For example: "Are you going out tonight?" sent by Chevyguy !

OK, I have my signatures completed for the email accounts on my BB, Thank you zerog46 and others. Now, is there a way to add a signature to a text message ?

The "create an Autotext" reply above, that you dismissed, is the only way to get a signature in text messages.

Create an Autotext entry with you signature and then type that entry plus space at the end of your message and the signature will be added.

OH . I will try it out. Will I have to do this at the end of every text message ? Or will the signature appear on the recipients phone after I send the message from now on ?

You will have to enter it manually in text messages. It won't be added automatically.

The one down side of this signature is that it uses your allotted amount of characters.

What would be the point of entering it in Autotext, if you have to type it in after every message anyway ??

You would type in say 3 letters and hit enter and it would bring up a specified signature. But again it takes up your character count.

This happened to one of my users I administer when he forgot his BIS password and didn't tell me until after I swapped his device out and discarded the old one.

Called the carrier and they reset it for us.
