| Need help with PRL Please Login to Remove! We are on Alltel. There are new PRLs available. I did the 228 option and my 8830 updated to the latest 40038 PRL. However, when I try to update my daughter's 8330, it says it has updated but she is still on old PRL.
Does anyone here know what we can do to get her updated? She and I are on same plan. She was not roaming. We have powered down and back up. With all this, she's still on old one. She is having a terrible problem with her SMS messages delivering to people on AT&T. Most of the time she has send the messages twice to get them through and then some times they still do not get them. Now maybe it is the AT&T network but she does still need the most up to date PRL on her phone.
Bottom line, does anyone know how we can get the update on her phone, other than going to the "zoo" (local retail location)?
Someone mentioned some QPST program but in reading that it says if you download to your phone to do things manually, you may mess up your phone and then your warranty is void and carrier will not replace phone. So since I am not real tech savvy, I am not sure that is good way to try to do this for us.
Everyone here is usually able to help me anytime I have an issue so thought I would try here before tackling the "zoo". Thanks. |
