Please Login to Remove!

hi there

verizon 8330

i got a used blackberry with a clean esn. i activated it with the unlimited data plan, went onto BIS login site activated my email, and never got a message, sent host routing table... no message (itsays message sent) and i have tried sending service books and i get nothing.

i have only got1xev not 1XEV
i called vzw and they said the phone is clean, and its on the relay tool.

the phone calls out no problem, also texts. i have no idea why i can get any data, and yes it is activated in my options menu.
things ive done
first signed up on verizon bis site.
then uninstalled DM and reloaded ver4.6
i have 4.3 OS on phone
wiped my device (with the jl cmdr i did a factory reset. and removed it policy
plugged it in with nothing happening
i have done security wipes with *228/1 since all this
i do have a data plan activated.

and today im going to try to do it all over again.

wtf

any help is super greatly appreciated.

There are a number of things that could be causing this, the first would be the account provisioning. I can check on our end and verify the account is provisioned properly tomorrow morning. If you do not have this resolved by then please PM me in the morning and I will handle it.

Did you do this?

Remove IT Policy - BlackBerryFAQ

It would be helpful for the people trying to help you here if you told us everything you've tried so far from the advice you got at crackberry. That way people won't be wasting time telling you to do things you've already done.

And no, I'm not following you. But please post all the facts if you want the best possible advice.

Four different threads at Crackberry and you're still having problems? Interesting.

Please list everything you have done from the time you received the phone, including any OS updates you have done, the version of Desktop Manager, and if your PC has XP or Vista (or if you're using a MAC).

Since you have no browser, I have to ask this, do you have a BB data plan or just a regular data plan and is it properly provisioned by your carrier?

^^ What Dubdub said. You need to make sure you have a BlackBerry Data Plan.

Yes, I see that you wrote you have a data plan. Is it a BlackBerry data plan?

Have you called Verizon to ask them if the phone is clean and if your account is provisioned properly. Something is fishy here.
