Default Help! Curve 8320 Continuous Boot Cycle

Please Login to Remove!

my friend's curve 8320 just suddenly entered into a continuous boot cycle. red led flashes, then hourglass screen then nothing and then red led flash again. it just cycles like this until the battery dies.
i tried "What to do next if Jl Cmder will not connect and wipe - BlackBerryFAQ" and it did manage to connect to the bb and erase everything (according to the progress report) but cant finish loading JVM and system software.
is there anything else i could try?

Does your friend have a storage disk mini card in the phone? I did. I took it out took my stuff off the card. Put it in my phone, let my phone reform the card. Put my stuff back on the card. Put the card back in the phone and it all worked fine. In addition, I am running v4.5.0.77 (Platform 3.2.0.51). I decided to reload it. Only because my disk memory was a little high. It brought my disk memory down a lot when I reloaded it.
