Hey, I'm new to the Blackberry world and was wondering if I was missing any important apps that make things easier. I already installed a great theme but I was thinking more along the lines of utilization. I have the google mobile app as well as opera mini. Thanks in advance!

Welcome to the forums.

There are a lot of great apps out there - some free, some not free.

I like BBWeather (free weather app that shows current and forecast weather for locations you define), Google Maps (much like the Google Maps on your PC), Facebook, and JiveTalk (multi-IM client so you can chat with Yahoo!, MSN, AOL, etc, all in 1 application).

What do you want your BB to be able to do?

You may want to check out the After martket software forum but below is what I got.

Quote:
JiveTalk - If you need IM access across many platforms.

WeatherBug Direct - Free, convienent, and has alerts for severe weather.

CB Launcher - nice shortcut.

Viigo - I wanna stay current on many things.

Opera Mini - I only use this to download files to my media Card (Documents, CB Podcasts , etc.)

Others programs I have:

Texas Hold'Em Kings 3 - I'm a big poker fan.

Ascendo Data Vault - Very easy to use and a life saver lol.

BBForums and BBFAQ - A must.

Cram - Just study when I need to.

And I got the bPhone and Vista themes, but I just have a thing for the BB Dimension L theme.

That's just what I use.. Whatever makes my life easier
