I would appreciate a little help if possible.

I have an 8310 with o/s v4.2.2.163

I have installed a 2 gig Kingston Micro SD card. This same card has been used in my last several bb's (3 x 8300 and 1 x 8310).

The problem that i have is that when i go to see my pictures from the media and then select the "my pictures" option, I can only see 8 pictures. At the top of the screen i see the word "camera". It's almost as if the browser is not looking at the memory card to display the photos. When i take a picture with the camera, i cant even browse to find the picture.

When i hook up my 8310 to my computer i can see every picture perfectly.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My suggestion would be to copy all the pictures to your PC. Then use the BB to format the card and move the pictures back.

Also make sure the card is not full. I had the same problem and my card was full. After deleting a few things I could see my pics again.

Thanks for your help. The memory card was not full, but neverthless i transfered the contents of my micro sd card to my computer and simply formatted the card again from within the 8310. After which i simply transferred the contents back to the micro sd card and all seems good. The only thing that i did notice was that i had 4 pictures that were not jpg's, they had jp0 as the file extension. I simply renamed those before the transfer.

As fo the upgrade to 4.5.81 i may try that this week.
