Default HELP: O/S ReLoad OK...Voice Mail Speed Dial Gone !?

Please Login to Remove!

OK....had to reload my O/S for 8310 which worked fine....and used backup to restore. One item that did not work is when I went to hold down the 1/W key for AT&T voice mail. It came up blank. I thought at first perhaps the phone # was blown away in the Speed Dial setting so I went to Messages>Options>Speed Dial and it was there. I could even select to call the speed dial from Memu there and works.

So, I would have thought there is some automatic link from 1/W key to Speed Dial # ? I went to both Speed Dial List or holding down that key to assign but it only allows me to select from my Address book. Now, I could go enter this number into my Address book and brute force the solution but is there now a way for the phone to see the Voice Mail number and assign to this key ?

Thx.

The fix:

Go back to the speed dial list and delete the entry, even though it may be correct. Then reboot the device. It will repopulate on reboot.
