Question bluetooth problem/confusion

Please Login to Remove!

I've never used bluetooth ever, so I don't know if this is common sense...but when I try to "pair" with another device it says "type passkey" and I don't know what to put in there????

Can someone help me?

The phone I'm trying to send something to is a criket wireless phone.

I'm no expert either but I type four '0' zero's in and hit the scroll wheel - that then pairs the two devices. I find having to do this each time I pair with my TomTom satnav a real pain and I've posted here to see if there is a way of doing this automatically but sadly didn't get any answers. I have set it to auto and trusted pairing but it still asks each time I get in the car - so if anyone's looking at this please tell me how to make this really automatic. Hope this helps, at least it's one response!

Generally most default passkeys are 0000 as Sideways says.
