I would have to agree with the OP, I also have AT&T Curve and it seems weird, sometimes the battery would last a few days, and sometimes it would drain fast. It is almost always slow, and it is acting weird. I suspect it is the OS.

What email service? I know for me every once and a while I have to reset my gmail. I don't know if there is a setting to fix its not been to much trouble to reset so I haven't looked. And I never got them with yahoo. But that was before the 4.5 update to haven't tried after it.

Just a few questions, do you take pictures with your camera? If you do, or if you think you do not, are there any pictures on the camera memory?

Also, there are some reported issues with facebook. Even though it only parses email some are reporting issues such as yours where the device is slow or non-responsive...

Your free memory is very low. You definitely need to look into a memory card to get pics or whatever out of the phone memory and onto the card. If you do that, I suspect you'll have a much better experience with your phone.

I have facebook with 4.5 and don't experience any issues, but everyone's phone seems to respond differently despite similar setups. Doesn't really make any sense most of the time, but it is what it is I guess.

The biggest issue with BB is not being able to install apps on the storage card.. This completely makes it useless other than videos and pictures/mp3s... You can't even open files from it.. What a joke.

You're wrong, theres a program called Aerize Card Loader 2008, that allows you to load applications directly to your memory card. This program can be found at Handango.com .... Good Luck!

Still, with all these, you have to pay additional money to do a simple function like opening a file from a folder. By the way I tried to get that dox to go, I cannot download it, on their website "Blackberry" link doesn't work. $70 for Docs to Go, $15 to be able to install apps on Storage Card, $85 for something that should have been standard. :(

Mmmmmmm Doc to go is FREE (even the upgrade and it works)
(the free version has an upgrade) Yes, there is a pay version that offers more bells and whilstles... but the reg. version works.....

Holden, maybe I use my blackberry too much (high SAR levels), but I didn't see the link to free version. Is it free trial, but it says 30 days only.

Documents To Go for BlackBerry Smartphones: Standard / Premium Comparison

It says Standard/Premium, but it only has one link to download.

4.5 os has the Documents to Go...
Open Docs to Go
Open Word to Go
Use menu key
Check for updates...

Your all set... (basic functions work and it's free.)
This free update will update the basic and add Sheets to Go...
Good luck...

I think you have more apps loaded than any BB user I know and this should qualify you for your own catagory here on the BBF's !! I checked out your blog and we may all be coming to you in a few months with our application 3rd party questions...

Cheers...
