My 8310 was working fine, including the camera, then I wanted to buy and install the microSD card. Then, I had trouble figuring out how to figure out how to get the camera to store the pictures on the microsd card. Before getting that far, my device would 'hang' when I tried accessing the camera (the camera stops giving the real time view, it just freezes). So now I have to take out the battery to re-boot it each time I look at the camera.
I have tried playing with all the options on the media card (media and mass storage on or off) and I also formatted the microsd card a couple of times, to no avail.

Suggestions?

Now the camera doesn't work even when I take the microsd card out.

The card I bought is a 4GB sandisk micrsosd HC card.
I'm not sure if the HC has any bearing on these issues, but I believe the 8310 holds a 4GB card.

Also, I'm running OS v4.2.2.163

I forgot to mention, when I try and use the camera (before it hangs) in the bottom of the screen (just left of the middle), there is an exclamation mark that pops up, with dots all around it in a circle. I do not know what that is, but may be pointing to a problem...
This shows up to the right of the number of pictures I have left available to take (says 12, so obviously not pointing to my microsd card...). It is to the left of the camera graphic at the bottom center...
